Welcome to the website of the NEW YORK CHARIOTS of FIRE, where we will introduce newcomers to the team and keep our friends and supporters up to date on the programs and fund-raising events in our community. We offer competitive and recreational sports opportunites to individuals with disabilities.
INDOOR WHEELCHAIR SOCCER is our premier discipline, a unique multi-disability team sport that includes most disability groups. ..We are always looking to recruit men and women aged 16 and over to join in the fun, so contact us and find out what programs we offer in the Long Island, NY area! ..Our volunteer coaching staff have over two decades of experience and our athletes have captured 12 IWS Titles and have won numerous medals in Track and Field and Powerlifting, on the regional, national and international levels. Furthermore, many of our team members have been selected to the U.S. Paralympic Team in Track and Field and Boccia.
In IWS, the NY Chariots compete in The 'Open Division' of Blaze Sports America , and the
NY Strikers compete in the 'A Division,' of our league and national governing body. ..Get to know our teams and sports here on the site and come out and see what we're all about. ..We practice at KINGS PARK H.S on Rt. 25A in Kings Park, NY and all of our events and tournament results will be announced here.
